| Doctor's Pass as seen the next morning, Dec 29. Notice that the narrowest point is the opening of the inlet in the far distance. The waves had been too big the previous night for the engine, so we'd had to sail in under 15-20 knots of wind. The most precarious situation we'd ever had Gonzo in. At one point we had been so close to the rocks that I was sure of the boat's imminent destruction. |  |
